Marsali - 2016 German Oldenburg Verband Mare (Matcho x G. Ramiro Z)   Price category: C

Marli is one of the most people oriented horses we have ever raised. She is an old soul that handles new situations with ease, and I think is going to be a great horse for an experienced amateur or young professional to bring along. She is by the Hanoverian stallion Mister A and out of our super producing mare Erin who has gifted us with some of the most talented, hard working and kind horses you would come across. Erin consistently passes on her excellent hind leg, and fabulous canter and Marli is no exception. Marli currently stands 16.1 1/2hh and will likely mature to a very elegant 16.2-16.3hh. Marli was named a Foal of Distinction at her inspection and absolutely lives up to that title.

Marli has been professionally and correctly started under saddle and is going well in walk/trot/canter. She is only offered for sale because of my lack of time due to our young family. She has no history of illness or injury and has good baseline x-rays taken March 2019 on file for review.

Marsali (March 2020) with about 30 rides under saddle.

Dunvegan - 2019 German Oldenburg Verband (GOV) colt    Price: E

Dunvegan or “Danny” was foaled May 6, 2019 and was praised at his GOV inspection for his powerful hind leg, confident disposition and superb elasticity. He was awarded Foal of Distinction.

Dunvegan’s sire Dannebrog is by legendary stallion Don Schufro (Donnerhall x Pik Bube I) and out of the outstanding dam St.Pr. Byzantina (Brentano II x Arogno). Dannebrog completed his 300 Day Stallion Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf in 2010 with fantastic scores, finishing 3rd overall in Dressage with an impressive index of 135.74. His individual scores highlight his fantastic mind and overall high quality; Walk 9, Trot 9, Character 9, Rideability 9, Canter 8, Temperament 8, Willingness to Work 8 and Constitution 8. His test rider marks were equally exciting; Walk 8.33, Trot 9, Canter 8.33, Rideability 8.5 and Jumping Course Canter 8. This rigorous 300 Day testing highlighted his extraordinary character, his fantastic rideability and his three supple and elastic gaits. His foals bear his trademark friendly disposition and possess his high-quality movement.

More importantly, Dunvegan’s dam, Erin (G. Ramiro Z x Tudor Minstrel xx) has produced some of our top riding horses. I have been privileged to ride 3 of her offspring to date and they have been consistent with outstanding work ethics, excellent use of their hind leg and superb canters. As an FEI rider and coach, I can confidently say this is the type of horse that I want in my program. Unfortunately, we only keep fillies, so this outstanding colt is offered for sale. Dunvegan is registered and microchipped with the German Oldenburg Verband (GOV) and comes with lifetime USEF membership. Expected mature height 16.2 hh.

Reasonable long term boarding options available. Shipping is easily arranged anywhere in North America.
