Callandra (Chloe) - 2023 Westfalen (KDR) filly (Zothen's Colani x Dampezzo x Bri-Mel's Ruhm)
Chloe is a an elegant dark chestnut filly with an outstanding disposition. She has an active hind leg with the walk and canter as highlights. "Chloe" is expected to be bewteen 15 - 15.2h at mature height.
Her sire Zothen's Colani is a young stallion that is proving to be an exceptional producer for disposition and athleticism.
Chloe's dam, Damzell, is by the Hanoverian stallion Dampezzo (Don Frederico x Lauries Crusdaor) out of a mare by Bri-Mel's Ruhm (Rio Negro). Chloe is a friendly, people oriented filly that loves to learn.
Chloe did have an in injury to her left eye as a two day old foal. The resulting inflammation led her to develop a catartact in the left eye that is not genetic, but does mean she currently has some vision loss. Her eye does not seem to affect her at all, but we want to be transparent. Because of this, Chloe is being offered at a very attractive price to potential buyers. Calypso is by the German Riding Pony Zothen's Colani out of Francesca (Furstenball x Eastern Ruler). Calypso is a powerful moving colt with excellent rhythm and a confident, outgoing disposition. Expected mature height is 15.2-15.3hh. This is an outstanding prospect for someone looking for a top prospect for the dressage ring. Calypso had an overall score of 8.3 at his Westfalen inspection.
